Beta testing Our Deprogramming Journal

Edited to add: We are in the process of contacting the testers chosen. The form at the bottom has been disabled.

Just like computers can have bad code or a virus that infects their code, so too can our minds contain false and counterproductive ideas. The cosmetics industry is rooted in the false and counterproductive belief that women need considerable help to be beautiful, that being beautiful is a prerequisite to a good life, and that being beautiful is foundational to womanhood. All of us huff the fumes of misogynistic messaging all day, and it can be hard to see how deep the poison has sunk in.

For most of us, it takes considerable time to deprogram from a culture that has a vested interest in making us feel insecure so that we buy more and accept less. Our goal with this tool is to help users rapidly see the false beliefs they have that are holding them back and to replace those beliefs with ones that are true and helpful. At the end of our your journey through the journal, you should feel considerably happier in your own skin, with the goal of being liberated to live your life more fully.

The journal uses a combination of approaches with the understanding that some things are going to work better for different people. Approaches include taking an inventory of what you believe about your body and where that came from, visualization, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), and several other methods that will help you heal.

We are looking for readers to beta test our Deprogramming Journal and give us feedback on what was helpful, what was not helpful, and anything that was confusing, etc.

If you are interested in being a beta tester, please fill out this form. We will be in touch shortly to let you know whether or not you have been chosen as a tester.
